My online guide is here to inform you about how the Valley of the Sun has much to offer.

Things to See

Perpetual sunshine makes Phoenix an outdoor enthusiast's dream. Explore the extensive trail system at South Mountain Park, hike up the city's most famous natural landmark, Camelback Mountain, and smell the desert blooms at the Desert Botanical Garden, a celebration of native desert flora and fauna.

Where to Dine

Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the US and downtown Phoenix (15 minutes from the airport) is becoming a hub of one-of-a-kind gastropubs, upscale cafes and coffee shops. Foodies still stand in line for Chris Bianco's brick oven pies at Pizzeria Bianco, famously voted the best pizza in America by top national critics. Travel uptown to north central Phoenix or Scottsdale for some of the city's trendiest fusion cuisine. Just don't skip town without sampling one of the city's excellent Mexican restaurants which are scattered across all corners of the valley and ranging from corner shop taquerias to upscale dining rooms.

Places to Party

You'll find some of the best nightlife in the city staggered across downtown and central Phoenix, including dance clubs, bars, theatres and music and comedy venues. On the westside, the Westgate City Center complex features dozens of neon-lit restaurants, bars and shopping. For a touch of glitz, head north to Scottsdale where the busy club scene on the Camelback Road corridor goes strong until dawn.

Hitting the Links

Heat seeking golfers have long zeroed in on the Phoenix metropolitan landscape and for good reason. There is nearly 316 days of sunshine on average. There’s also more than 200 courses with unique and dramatic holes set in the desert landscape. The Valley is even known for hosting the Annual PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour events. Award-winning resorts with 36 holes and public facilities are among the country's best.
